Parent Involvement
2005-2006 NORDIC SKI TEAM PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Parents are invited to get involved in a number of ways - sending snacks on a race day; helping with timing; taking photos/video for website and banquet video; winter trip chaperones and chauffeurs for ski resort practices. Dress warmly and cheer loudly. Calendars handed out at the beginning of the season with as many dates forecasted as possible, updated throughout the season on the team pages of this website. Watch for Nordic Newsletters and the WWW.CoonRapidsNordicSki.Org website for additional updates. Athletes should listen to coaches for additional practice and schedule information. Ski Team athletes meeting held in late October/early November. Parent’s meeting November 15th at the beginning of the season. Call a Coach or Team Captains with questions.
Parents are also encouraged to join the Coon Rapids Nordic Ski Boosters Club (CRNSBC). Membership is a one time $25 fee per family.

The Coon Rapids Nordic Ski Boosters Club promotes physical and mental well being, sportsmanship, camaraderie, competitiveness, and school spirit; through positive moral support of the skiers, coaches and parents; and through monetary supplements for equipment and expenses of the Coon Rapids Nordic Ski Team.
