The team usually sets up camp in the basement. The nordic ski trails are to the far right of the parking lot. The start line is at the bottom of a small incline leading from the parking lot. |

Section 5 Meet | Camp Ripley | 10:30 - Boys 5K classic 11:15 - Girls 5K Classic 1:30 - Boys Skate 2:30 - Girls Skate 4:00 - 4:15 - Awards Take Hwy 10 West to Little Falls then go North on Hwy 371 to Hwy 115 and go west. Take a right into Ripley. They will inspect drivers license of the driver and may look through the vehicle. Two miles straight ahead of the min gate is RANGE CONTROL--you must stop there to sign in and get a vehicle pass. You must check back out with range control when finished. Range Control will direct you from that point to where the meet is (follow signs and cones). It is still a good 5 mins after Range Control. Day of the meet: allow time to check through the main gate, range control and the slow drive out to the biathlon range. If parents can car pool to Ripley or Meet at Ripley and car pool to the meet site it may make parking easier. There is not a ton of parking, especially with buses, so get there early if you are wanting to park. There is a large building in which fans can use and there will be a building or two in which we as a team will be assigned to. There is no concessions, so please bring food for yourselves if you plan to be there a while. |
